The RainCatcher RC is available in white, grey and brown and is suitable for downpipes with different diameters . Made from UV-resistant polypropylene, it is winter-proof and has an automatic overflow stop. The outlet spigot has a diameter of DN 50.
The RainCatcher RC is installed in the vertical downpipe. It directs rainwater flowing down from above to the cistern. Coarse soiling is separated and channelled downwards into the drain or soakaway. Installed at the correct height, the RainCatcher RC automatically directs excess water to the drain or soakaway. The housing is made of UV-resistant polypropylene (PP). Please select the right version for your downpipe diameter. It is suitable for round downpipes with an outer diameter of 50 to 114 mm. The product comes with a 5-year guarantee.
Drainage-proof in accordance with EN 12056, fulfils DIN 1989.Please note: For downpipe outer diameters of 50 - 90 mm, 18 cm must be cut out of the downpipe for correct installation. For outer diameters greater than 90 mm, this dimension is 14 cm.

Function and area of application
The RainCatcher RC is installed in the vertical downpipe. It directs the rainwater which is coming from above sidewards to the cistern. Due to its special design, the RainCatcher RC separates coarse dirt such as leaves or moss and flushes them through the downpipe directly into the drain. The collected rainwater is perfectly suitable for garden irrigation .
The rain downpipe remains free
As with all WISY filters, the open cross-section of the downpipe is maintained throughout the entire unit. There are no constrictions where rainwater can accumulate , even in cloudburst rain with heavy load input. Even a tennis ball can fall through the housing unhindered without clogging the pipe. At the same time, the RainCatcher RC has a high hydraulic efficiency. In an average rainstorm, it collects over 90 % of the rainwater.
