Function
The DN 110 overflow siphon (for pipes with an outer diameter of 110 mm) forms the fourth stage of the WISY 4-stage system for cleaning rainwater and ensures permanently clean water in the cistern. When overflowing, it uses the skimmer effect to remove the layer of dirt floating on the surface, such as pollen or fine organic particles.
Properties
The low-maintenance polyethylene component prevents small animals from entering via the integrated small animal protection and also serves as an odour trap to the drain. Thanks to the shortenable drain pipe (320 mm), the siphon is particularly suitable for flat tanks or containers with little or no height offset between the inlet and outlet: this means that the upper layer of water is safely drained even at low construction heights and the water can be drained directly from the base level of the pipe.
