Description
Fine suction filters with a mesh size of 0.3 mm (0.01 in.) are suitable for water which has not been pre-filtered, e.g. from open waters, storage tanks or fountains. The inspection cycle varies according to the water quality.
The floating filters for suction pumps are equipped with a non-return valve in order to maintain the suction column in the suction hose. The float is made of environmentally friendly polyethylene. All other parts made of stainless steel.
The nozzles at the floating filters are rounded in order to protect the hoses. The hose remains fully functional and durable even when the float frequently changes position in the tank. The nozzles are also equipped with a flared collar to allow secure attachment of the hose.
Please note: Flexible hose can only be used with suction pumps which are controlled by a pump controller with non-return valve! Expansion tanks with pressure switch only are not suitable!
Floating filters from WISY are available as fine filters (0.3 mm mesh size) or as coarse filters (1.2 mm mesh size). Also available are versions with check valve for suction pumps or without check valve for submersible pressure pumps.
