The RainCatcher RC is available in white, grey and brown and is suitable for downpipes with different diameters . Made of UV-resistant polypropylene, it is winterproof and has an automatic overflow stop. The outlet spout has a diameter of DN 50.
The RainCatcher RC is installed in the vertical downpipe. It directs rainwater flowing down from above to the cistern. Coarse soiling is separated and directed downwards into the drain or soakaway. Mounted at the correct height, the RainCatcher RC automatically directs excess water to the drain or infiltration. The housing is made of UV-resistant polypropylene (PP). It is suitable for round downpipes with 102 or 110 mm outer diameter. There is a 10-year guarantee on the product.
Drainage-proof according to EN 12056, complies with DIN 1989.

Function and area of application
The RainCatcher RC is installed in the vertical downpipe. It directs the rainwater flowing in from above to the side of the cistern. Due to its special design, the RainCatcher RC separates coarse soiling such as leaves or moss and flushes them through the downpipe directly into the drain or soakaway. The collected rainwater is very suitable for garden irrigation .
The rain downpipe remains free
As with the WISY filters, the open cross-section of the downpipe is maintained throughout the entire unit. There are no constrictions where rainwater can accumulate , even in cloudburst rain with heavy load input. Even a tennis ball can fall through the housing unhindered without clogging it. At the same time, the RainCatcher RC has a high hydraulic efficiency. In an average rainstorm, it collects over 90 % of the rainwater that falls.
