Project information
The use of rainwater for flushing toilets, washing clothes and cleaning purposes as an environmentally friendly and profitable technical solution is not yet widespread in Hungary.
However, a positive example is the rainwater system of the primary school of Mezőszentgyörgy. This small village, which is over 1100 years old, is located 8 km east of Lake Balaton and has 1300 inhabitants who live mainly from agriculture. The primary school is called Eötvös Károly and has around 200 pupils and teachers.
