The RS rain collector is available in white, grey and brown and is suitable for downpipes with different diameters . Stainless steel mesh size: 0.28mm. Outlet spigot: DN 50.
The rainwater collector RS is installed in the vertical downpipe. It filters rainwater flowing down from above before it is discharged laterally to the cistern. Its filter insert consists of a fine stainless steel mesh with a mesh size of only 0.28 mm. Leaves, moss and other entrained freight are separated and flushed downwards into the receiving water. The filter element is made entirely of stainless steel. Cleaning interval only 2-3 times a year. For round downpipes with 102 or 110 mm outer diameter. 10 years warranty.
Drainage-proof according to DIN EN 12056 / EN 752, fulfils DIN 1989.

What does the rain collector RS do?
The rain collector RS is installed in the vertical downpipe. It filters the rainwater flowing in from above before it drains it off to the side of the cistern. Leaves, moss and other debris are separated by the rain collector and flushed downwards into the receiving water.

The clean rainwater is optimally prepared by the RainCollector RS for storage in the cistern and subsequent use in washing machines, toilet flushing or for cleaning purposes. No further filtering is required.

Why can't the RS rain collector become clogged?
The open cross-section of the downpipe is maintained throughout the entire rainwater collector. There are therefore no constrictions where first dirt and leaves and later rainwater could accumulate. Not even in cloudburst-like rain with heavy load input.
<> Even a tennis ball could fall unhindered through the downpipe and the RegenSammler RS without becoming a blockage. At the same time, the RainCollector RS has a high hydraulic efficiency. In an average rain shower, it collects well over 90 % of the rainwater that falls.

WISY filter inserts are low-maintenance because their smooth surface makes it almost impossible for impurities to adhere. The filter insert of the rain collector RS consists of fine, vertical stainless steel mesh with a mesh size of only 0.28 mm.
If it is necessary, the filter insert of the rain collector RS can be removed from the housing in a few easy steps and cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or in the dishwasher.
Rain collector for the tropical sun
The housing of the RegenSammler RS is made of UV-resistant polypropylene (PP), designed for tropical sunlight, the filter element is made of stainless steel. The inlet diameter of the RegenSammler RS is suitable for round downpipes with a diameter of 100 to 110 mm. Smaller cross-sections can be connected with an adapter.
Oxygen enrichment in the rain collector
During filtration in the rainwater collector RS, the water is simultaneously enriched with oxygen. The high oxygen content additionally improves the water quality and prevents the growth of undesirable, anaerobic microorganisms in the cistern.
