2x Vortex Fine Filter WFF150
Object data
Fulda, Germany | 2000
The plant uses 80,000 m³ of process water per year. Most of it comes from the Fulda River, which flows directly under the building. The river water is elaborately cleaned with gravel bed filters before it can be used.
Since the demand could not always be met, especially in summer due to low water levels, a rainwater harvesting system was installed to supplement the system.
The rainwater is passed through the WISY filter and fed into a small intermediate tank for additional sedimentation. It is then pumped into the 30m³ storage tank about 50 metres away and used continuously in the dyeing process together with the river water.
