Project information

Rainwater feeds the university's cooling towers. Rainwater evaporates without leaving any residues or mineral deposits, thus saving considerable costs for the regular chemical cleaning of the evaporation systems that would normally be necessary.

For rainwater utilisation, 2,200 m² of roof area of a partial building is used. With the pressure drainage system, the rainwater is directed to two WFF 300 vortex fine filters. The filtered water is then stored in a rainwater tank with a volume of 350 m³.
