The shut-off non return valve is an accessory for rainwater units for elevated cisterns.
p> It is an essential accessory if it is possible for the maximum water level in the cistern to exceed the height of the intermediate tank in the house. It is closed in switched off position and keeps the supply line from the cistern to the intermediate tank closed until the cistern pump is activated. When the cistern pump receives power, the solenoid valve of the shut-off valve is also opened and the supply line is open. This prevents water from the higher-lying cistern from unintentionally flowing through the supply hose into the intermediate tank.
