The World Cup Stadium for 44,000 spectators also has a 1,000 m³ cistern for rainwater. The water collected from the stadium roof is cleaned by 9 WFF 300 vortex fine filters and then stored in the cistern. The water thus obtained is used to irrigate the pitch turf and for the stadium toilet facilities.
