The floating intake coarse filter is suitable for drawing in pre-cleaned water, for example from cisterns, rainwater storage tanks or closed containers. The coarse filter has a mesh size of 1.2 mm. Versions with non-return valve for suction pumps or without non-return valve for underwater pressure pumps are available.
The optional integrated non-return valve prevents the hose from running dry when connected to a suction pump.
The floating ball is made of environmentally friendly polyethylene, while all other parts are made of stainless steel .
The grommets on the floating filters are rounded to protect the hose. Even with frequent up and down movement of the floating ball in the rainwater storage tank, the hose remains fully functional at all times . The grommets also have a bead to securely fasten the hose.
