Every complete rainwater tank set from WISY is based on a sophisticated system of perfectly harmonised components. These basic elements are included in the complete sets for pure garden irrigation as well as in the house and garden systems.

The rainwater cistern, optionally made of robust concrete or durable plastic, takes centre stage. They are available in various sizes to suit the roof area and water requirements. The vortex fine filter (WFF 100 or 150) ensures that dirt particles are reliably removed from the rainwater before it enters the cistern.

An inlet stabiliser prevents sediment from being stirred up in the tank, while the overflow siphon drains off excess water in a controlled manner.

Finally, the floating intake filter set extracts the water just below the surface, where it is clearest - an important contribution to clean, odour-free water and a permanently high water quality.

The set for using the cisterns in the garden is designed for irrigation. In addition to the common basic components, it contains a powerful BETA garden pump, which pumps the rainwater from the cistern and switches itself on and off automatically via an integrated control unit.

The water is channelled to the tapping point in the garden via a PE pipe using the supplied garden irrigation set with water socket. There it can be used under pressure with standard hose connectors - for example for lawn sprinklers, garden sprays or other irrigation systems.

There is no provision for a connection to the mains water supply or automatic replenishment with drinking water. In the event of a water shortage, the control unit integrated into the garden pump stops operation and thus protects it from running dry. The system is completely self-sufficient and enables resource-saving rainwater utilisation in the garden - efficient, reliable and easy to operate.

Household & garden set

The complete rainwater cistern set for home and garden is the ideal solution if rainwater is to be used not only outdoors but also in the home. The decisive difference to the complete garden irrigation sets lies in the integrated rainwater unit. This unit replaces the simple garden pump and ensures a reliable, uninterrupted water supply - even for applications that are permanently connected to the building services.

For example, the filtered rainwater can be used to flush the toilet or the washing machine. This not only saves drinking water, but also makes the use of rainwater for the toilet and household particularly convenient. If the cistern is ever empty, the system automatically switches to the drinking water supply. Naturally, it fulfils the requirements of DIN EN 1717, which stipulates a clear separation between the drinking water and rainwater networks.

Watering the garden is also no problem with this variant: the rainwater can be drawn off under pressure via an outdoor tap on the house - ideal for a hose, sprinkler or garden sprayer. This complete set thus combines the advantages of the garden solution with the additional benefit of rainwater utilisation in the household.

As with the garden kit, the rainwater cistern is also available in different volumes and materials - made of concrete or plastic, tailored to the property, roof area and individual water requirements. The result is a well-thought-out solution for sustainable rainwater drainage on and around the house.

The choice of the right complete rainwater cistern set depends on several factors - from the planned use to the size of the property and the structural conditions. The first decisive factor is how the collected rainwater is to be used: exclusively in the garden or also in the household for applications such as the toilet and washing machine. The area of use should therefore be precisely defined in the first step.

The material and size of the cistern are just as important. Depending on the location, available space and personal preference, there is a choice of plastic or concrete versions. The choice of the right cistern size depends on several factors - the roof area, the type of roof, the regional rainfall and, of course, the individual water requirement. A complete underground tank set is available in various volume classes, so that the right solution can be found for almost any application - from compact storage tanks to large systems.

The first step is to determine how much rainwater can actually be collected from the available collection area over the course of the year and how much service water is actually required. The following applies when calculating the appropriate cistern volume: the smaller of the two values - available rainwater volume or water requirement - is decisive for the dimensioning.

In practice, cisterns with a capacity of between 5,000 and 15,000 litres have proven to be particularly popular. However, significantly larger volumes can also be realised depending on the size of the property and usage. If more storage capacity is required, several tanks can be connected together and thus combined to form a larger overall system.

Each complete underground tank set from WISY also includes a suitable vortex fine filter - customised to the size of the roof area. The WFF 100 is used for areas up to 200 m² and the more powerful WFF 150 for larger roofs up to around 500 m², ensuring that the system is always optimised to meet actual requirements.
