Aj v tomto prípade ide o otázku využitia. Na čo by sa mal dážď použiť? Využívanie dažďovej vody sa dá ľahko integrovať do každodenného života. Len by ste ju nemali piť.

Využitie dažďovej vody a priemyselná filtrácia

Odpoveď je jednoduchá: Áno, dažďová voda je zdraviu neškodná.

Dažďová voda je odparená voda, porovnateľná s absolútne čistou, destilovanou vodou. Keďže prechádza vzduchom a steká po zberných plochách, absorpcia nečistôt je pomerne nízka. Boli o tom vykonané rozsiahle vedecké štúdie, napríklad štúdie Holländera, R. a i. (1996).

Autori zistili, že [...] ak sa [dažďová voda] používa ako úžitková voda v domácnosti (splachovanie WC, pranie, zavlažovanie záhrady), dažďová voda zachytená v cisternách nepredstavuje žiadne "hygienické riziko". [1]

Na reprezentatívnu štúdiu sa použilo celkovo 1600 vzoriek vody zo 102 rôznych cisterien.
